Wade Logan Rafael TV Stand Review

Wade Logan Rafael TV Stand with TV and soundbar showing Netflix

Living in New York City, having a small living space is common. We live in a studio apartment and found a great deal on a 50” Samsung Smart TV on Craigslist. Because we are renting, we did not want to put large holes into the wall from mounting the TV. My wife was worried that a 50 inch TV would be too big for our tiny space, but I assured her it would work out perfectly if we can get the right TV stand. After shopping around our local furniture stores and a few online retailers, we ended up with the Rafael TV Stand by Wade Logan on Wayfair. This TV stand fits a TV up to 50 inches... just what we needed.

With a height of 13 inches, it’s the perfect height for viewing a 50” TV from the couch that’s 5 feet away. If the TV is too high, your neck will be strained due to the poor viewing position from the lack of distance. The wood finish is glossy, which gives the entertainment console a high-end look. It has a drawer on one side, so you can hide all your miscellaneous items and gaming console accessories. Ours is holding the Ring Fit Adventures ring controller for the Nintendo Switch, which is an awesome way to get a workout in while you are staying inside during a pandemic.

On the other side, you have an exposed 2 level shelf. This is perfect for gaming consoles or HiFi receivers. This is where we put our PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The shelf is adjustable so you can raise it or lower it depending on your needs. In the back, there is an opening so that you can wire all your connections through cleanly. Making cable management easy is a great feature of this unit so you can enjoy your TV without the distraction of messy cables.A concern we had was the lack of space for a speaker system. Since our TV takes up the whole width of the TV stand, there isn’t much room to add speakers to the sides. A soundbar is great for this situation, since it sits right in front of the TV without blocking the screen.

If you live in a studio apartment or just have a limited amount of space to work with, this TV stand is the way to go. It is priced very well and looks nice. Assembly was easy and straightforward since it doesn’t have any intricate pieces. A neutral piece of furniture that is functional for small spaces, we’ve been very happy with it and you will be too.
